On September 8, Queen Elizabeth, who ruled the British throne from 1952 to 2022 died at 96 in her sleep. A lot of people from the sports fraternity offered their condolences. The majority of them came from the England sports fraternity and some from other nations. Following the suit, legendary Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar offered his condolences to the deceased queen. This has angered Indian fans.
Apparently, India has a history with the British Royal Family. For more than 200 years, the English Royal family ruled the Asian country in unwarranted ways. Over the course of more than two centuries, the empire exploited the Indian people and became the reason for the death of a lot of people. The freedom fighters did everything to kick the empire out of the Asian country with some of them losing their lives.
This is the reason the majority of the Indians haven't offered their condolence for the deceased. Also, they have expressed their anger towards the Mumbai player. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli, who scored his 71st international century in the ongoing Asia Cup 2022, didn't get any congratulatory messages from the 2011 World Cup winner. This is another reason the 200-Test veteran has been getting scolded on social media.
'Saddened to hear about the passing away of Queen Elizabeth II. I had the opportunity to meet her in person on a number of occasions, and the love & respect that people had for her was heartening to see. My deepest condolences to her family and dear ones,' Sachin wrote on Twitter.

Not our queen, not our majesty, enough reasons too, to not call her majesty.

@sachin_rt Appalling to see you not congratulating Virat Kohli for his 71st hundred but offering condolence to a coloniser. Not expect this from a legend such as you
