The ODI World Cup 2023, in India is just around the corner and is set to commence on Thursday, October 5 with the tournament opener between the finalists of the last edition, England and New Zealand. Both teams will play this inaugural match at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, in the presence of almost 1.25 lakh spectators.
All teams are gearing up their preparations hard for the upcoming main round of the tournament as the warm-up matches are underway. Apart from that, the teams have also announced their new and exciting jerseys, which their players will be wearing while representing their country in the ODI World Cup 2023.

Here we’ll have a look at the jerseys of all the 10 participating in the 13th edition of the ODI World Cup:
10. Sri Lanka (5/10)
The Islanders will be going ahead in the marquee international tournament with a mix of experience and young talents. The list of experiences includes the stars in skipper Dasun Shanaka, alongside the veteran batter Kusal Mendis, Dimuth Karunaratne, and Dhananjay de Silva.
Speaking of the Sri Lankan team’s jersey for the ODI World Cup 2023, it is going to be a mix of blue and yellow colours having some special prints in the frontal part of the jersey.
On a scale of 1 to 10, Sri Lanka's jersey can be rated 5 points out of 10 owing to the average work done on their jersey.
9. Pakistan (8/10)
The men in green have already been in the headlines of both social and mainstream media after their visa concerns and injury hits surfaced in social media. However, the 1992 ODI World Cup champions arrived in India on Wednesday, September 27 after the clearance of their visas.
Apart from that, Pakistan’s jersey for the upcoming edition of the World Cup also attracted the eyeballs when it was revealed a few days back. It will feature a dark green colour, including a yellow star below the Pakistan flag on the left side of the jersey, just opposite the World Cup logo.

8. South Africa (7/10)
The Proteas were one of the teams who had to make some last-minute changes in their squad after their star bowlers Anirch Nortje and Sisanda Magala. They were replaced by Andile Phehlukwayo and Lizaad Williams in the final squad of South Africa for the ODI World Cup 2023.
Meanwhile, the Proteas also announced their official kit for the tournament, which includes the deep green colour of the jersey with some special patterns and styles of black on the sleeves.
South Africa's jersey can be rated 7 out of 10 acknowledging some unique changes in their jersey style and some extra additions.
7. New Zealand (8/10)
The finalists of ODI World Cup 2015 and ODI World Cup 2019 grabbed the attention when the families of the players were presented to announce their Men’s Squad for the ODI World Cup 2023. The video was shared widely across all the platforms of social media.
The Kiwis have opted to go ahead with the kit completely black colour, having some white lines which will be there in a vertical manner on the jersey below their name.
New Zealand's jersey deserves to be rated 8 out of 10 for the vintage craft that has been done on their jersey for the upcoming edition of the ODI World Cup.
6. Netherlands (6/10)
The Dutch are making their comeback to the ODI World Cup after a wait of 12 years and that too in India only. It is being said because when they appeared last time in the ODI World Cup 2011, it was also played in India, alongside Bangladesh and Sri Lanka.
The Netherlands revealed their jersey for the World Cup having a full touch of traditional orange outfit, having some borders of blue colour on it.
As the Netherlands haven't gone for much changes in the World Cup jersey except some strips and sponsors' name here and there, it can be rated with 6 points out of 10.
5. England (9/10)
The defending champions, England will be one of the major centres of attraction in the upcoming edition of the ODI World Cup. They are also among the hot favourites to win the tournament, alongside some other strong teams like Australia, India, and New Zealand.
The Three Lions will be coming with their traditional blue jersey with white borders on the sleeves, including a red strip in the frontal part of the jersey.
Considering the classy look of the jersey of the reigning champions, it can be rated with 9 points out of 10 on a scale of 1 to 10.
4. Bangladesh (5/10)
Bangladesh have been in a lot of controversial headlines after the Tamim Iqbal exclusion episode when they announced their squad for the tournament. Subsequently, the former skipper came up with some shocking statements regarding the Bangladesh Cricket Board, alongside the skipper and his teammate, Shakib Al Hasan.
Apart from that, Bangladesh have also come up with an interesting and quite good-looking jersey for the ODI World Cup 2023. Quite a bit more than South Africa, they have also the deep green jersey but with a slight change, there are some red splashes in the sides of the jersey and similar splashes near the neck portion of the jersey.
Bangladesh have not opted to make much presentable changes in their jersey so this can't be rated more than 5 on a scale of 1 to 10.
3. Afghanistan (7/10)
One of the rising and promising Associate Nations, Afghanistan will be making their presence in the ODI World Cup for the third time since their debut in the tournament eight years back in the year 2015. A few of the players in the team have been a part of the team throughout all these editions and will also be in action during the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023.
Speaking of their jersey for the upcoming edition, they will be coming up with three colours, including a maximum blue part, alongside a slight touch of grey and red. The border around the sleeves of the jersey will be especially red colour.
Considering the creativity that has been done on the chest portion of the jersey, it's something deserves to rated 7 points out of 10.
2. India (9/10)
The two-time World Cup Champions will be the hosts for the upcoming ODI World Cup 2023 and it will be for the second time in the last 12 years when India will be hosting this prestigious cricket quadrennial. Having a brilliant form after clinching the Asia Cup 2023 title and ODI series win against Australia, India will be eyeing their third title in the ODI World Cup history.
Talking about India’s jersey in the upcoming home World Cup, they will be going with the traditional blue colour, including the borders with the stripes of orange colour. Apart from that, the Indian national flag’s tri-colour will also be there on the shoulder portion of the jersey.
As India's jersey texture will be quite different, though the colour will be same, but the new changes in the jersey is something which can be rated 9 points out of 10.
1. Australia (9.5/10)
The five-time ODI World Cup champions, Australia have shown their brilliance in the last ODI of the three-match ODI series against Australia followed by their warm-up against the Netherlands on Saturday, September 30. They will be eyeing their record sixth ODI World Cup title in the history of the tournament. The last time, was eight years back in the year 2015 when Australia won the ODI World Cup in their backyard.
The Kangaroos will be coming up with their traditional golden and yellow jersey, with a special touch of baggy green on the sides of the jersey below the underarms.
The Aussies will be carrying their vintage look almost resembling their jersey looks in 2003 World Cup; the inclusion of baggy green also makes it classy so it deserves the ratings points more than any other team's jersey; it can be rated 9.5 out of 10 on a scale of 1 to 10.
