The young Indian opener Prithvi Shaw is on the receiving end of some brutal trolls on social media. It all happened when he spoke out his opinion on the term ‘Bazball’ in cricket for England’s aggressive approach. He said that ‘Bazball’ is something he doesn’t understand.
“I don't understand what they mean when they say Bazball. I assume looking at Mitchell Marsh's batting that he's a proper Bazball cricketer. People will come out with new names. The way I play is that if I see the ball, I hit the ball. I don't know what people will call that. Whether they call it baseball, hockey, or whatever they want to call it, at the end of the day, woh apna cricket hai (that's our sport - cricket),” said Prithvi Shaw
This statement from Prithvi didn’t go down comfortably with a section of the cricket fans, especially some Indian cricket fans. They immediately took to Twitter and brutally trolled him by recalling his involvement in controversies and less concentration on cricket. Fans also questioned the fact if he is enough eligible to give his opinions on anything in cricket.
Here's how fans reacted:

Later, Shaw also spoke about his experience with the English conditions and the way he managed to adjust to the environment of England.
“I don't think it will be the right time to make any adjustments to my game now. Whatever adjustments I had to make to my game, has already been done. Once I go there and get my eyes set, I just need to play my natural game... I've been going there since I was 12 years old. I've done six months of schooling in Manchester. I like the country and the people there. They are very nice; I like to spend time over there. I have got the opportunity to go over there and express myself,” said Shaw.
“I just want to take it as any other game. It's just like the first-class games we play here. Nothing huge, just a different experience. Getting an invitation from there means a lot. It's the same - I'll have to go there and score runs for the team because that's what they are expecting from me. Obviously, they have seen me perform and that's why they have called me there. There might be something they think I'm capable of doing. I think I'll have a great time,” he added.
