People looted Rishabh Pant’s money despite calling an ambulance after accident - Reports

On 30 December 2022. Rishabh Pant got involved in a devastating road accident that shocked the whole of India. Fans were in shock to see how badly the wicketkeeper batter got injured. Rishabh Pant was going to Roorkee from Delhi. During that journey, he hit his car with the railing and the car caught fire. 

The incident took place on the Narsan border of Roorkee near Hammadpur Jhal.  Somehow, the fire got under control and Pant was taken to Saksham Hospital on Delhi Road. Some people rescued the star cricket from that accident. But, now reports have come out that the injured cricketer called for an ambulance by himself. While some people looted money from his bag which was in the car.

According to eyewitnesses, Rishabh  Pant’s car collided with a pile of soil and rolled over multiple times. Then, the car hit guard rails on the side of the road and caught fire. As per reports, Pant was trying hard to get out of the car. But, he was unable to do so due to several injuries on his head, knee, and shin.

Reports also suggested that there were some people who came to that burning car. But, instead of helping him, they looted money from the bag the cricketer had in his car. The Indian wicketkeeper came out of the car all by himself and called for an ambulance and the police for help. Regarding the accident, Uttarakhand Police Director General Ashok Kumar said that Pant broke the windscreen to escape the flaming vehicle.

Some reports also suggested that the cricketer was sleepy while driving and that resulted in that horrible accident. Over this accident, Uttarakhand Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami came up with full support to the Indian wicketkeeper. According to the CMO Statement, “Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami instructed officials to ensure all possible arrangements for the treatment of the injured cricketer Rishabh Pant and to provide an air ambulance if required.”
