India’s young batter, Prithvi Shaw has bought a new house in Mumbai, which is worth a fortune. Notably, Shaw has bought a luxurious apartment in Bandra reclamation, which is on the 8th floor of residential tower 81 Aureate. The apartment reportedly has a carpet area of 2209 square feet, a terrace of 1654 square feet along with three car parking slots.
If reports are to be believed, the apartment is equivalent to Prithvi Shaw’s last five year’s Indian T20 League salary. The apartment’s current prize is INR 10.5 crore. He has paid INR 52.50 as stamp duty on 31st March 2022. Besides, the registration happened on 28th April 2022.
Prithvi Shaw is currently plying his trade for Delhi in the ongoing edition of the Indian T20 League. He has had a decent season with the bat. In 9 matches, he has managed to score 259 runs at an average and strike rate of 28.78 and 159.88 respectively. Delhi are currently placed at number seven on the points table with 4 wins in 9 matches.
Shaw shot to fame after he led India to a title win in the Under-19 World Cup. Under his leadership, India beat Australia to win the 2018 Under-19 World Cup. In the same year, Delhi franchise bought his services for a whopping amount of 1.2 crore.
He has been an integral cog of Delhi’s batting unit, since. In his Indian T20 League career so far, he has scored 1564 runs in 62 matches at an average of 25.23. Prithvi Shaw made his first international appearance on 4th October 2018. He made his Test debut against West Indies and scored a hundred in his first-ever Test match. With that, he also became only youngest batsman to score a century in his debut Test.
So far, in his international cricket career, Shaw has played 5 Tests for India, scoring 339 runs at an average of 42.4. As far as ODIs are concerned, Shaw has scored 189 runs in 6 matches at 31.5.
