The ninth season of the Pro Kabaddi League is going to start on 7 October 2022. Fans will be eager to see their favourite players in action again. A two-day auction happened on 5 and 6 August 2022 ahead of this tournament.

However, there are several players who can be the X-factors for their respective teams in this upcoming season. These players can help their teams to win the trophy this time around. In the auction, these players grabbed the attention most. Dabang Delhi will lock horns with U Mumba for the tournament opener on 7 October 2022.     

Here are the top five players to watch out for in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) Season 9

Pawan Kumar Sehrawat

This player can be a vital part of Tamil Thalaivas in this next season of the Pro Kabaddi League. In this year’s auction, Pawan Kumar Sehrawat became the highest-ever buy in the history of the tournament. Thalaivas bought him for a whopping Rs 2.26 crore. Pawan has been the number-one raider in this league for the last three years. 

Vikash Khandola

This player enjoyed a great last season for Haryana Steelers. Hence, Bengaluru Bulls bought him for this upcoming season for Rs 1.70 crore. Vikash Khandola has won his fans’ hearts through his running hand touch.

Guman Singh

This former player of Patna Pirates had a great last season. Therefore, U Mumba bought him this time around for Rs 1.21 crore. Last season, he grabbed 95 points in 19 matches. Hence, Mumbai fans will hope for a good show again from him in this next season. 

Pardeep Narwal

Gujarat Giants launched a bid for him for Rs 90 lakh for this upcoming season of the Pro Kabaddi League. But, he ended up at the UP Yoddhas as they used the Final Bid Match (FBM) Card to retain him. 

Fazel Atrachali

This player will kick off this season of the Pro Kabaddi League as the most expensive defender and overseas player. Puneri Paltans spent Rs 1.38 crore to acquire the services of Fazel Atrachali.
