Four-time IPL champions Chennai Super Kings, under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, will lock horns with Kolkata Knight Riders in the 33rd match of the ongoing Indian Premier League. The yellow outfits will be eyeing to gain the top spot in the points table tournament with a win against KKR.
Meanwhile, a few of the CSK players are hitting the headlines with their brilliant performances in the tournament so far. The senior batter Ajinkya Rahane is one of the names who managed to stun everyone with his amazing batting in the tournament.
Recently, India’s former chief selector Krisnamachari Srikkanth has come up with praise for MS Dhoni and also credited him for the impressive performances of the players.
“MS Dhoni trusts his teammates, and that is the reason he backs them to give their best. There are many such case studies, and the latest one is that of Ajinkya Rahane. Rahane himself admitted that Dhoni only asked him to enjoy his game. And then everyone knows what Rahane did after going in the field,” said Srikkanth to Star Sports.
Here's what Ajinkya Rahane said about MS Dhoni
"I was really happy when CSK picked me. How they treat each and every individual. Before this I had heard from many players, it is really like a family. I know now. I have played under Mahi bhai (MS Dhoni) a lot of times in the Indian team; at CSK it was for the first time. I am really enjoying: the atmosphere is the same whether we win or lose,” said Rahane earlier.
