Ravichandran Ashwin has come up with a hilarious dig at the owner of the micro-blogging site Twitter, Elon Musk. The world's number one Test bowler happened to sign up to the recently-launched Threads app and posted an interesting update trolling Elon Musk. Notably, the latter has been on the receiving end of criticism after the changes he made to the micro-blogging site Twitter.
Threads platform is being considered as the rival of Twitter introduced by Meta. The owner of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg introduced Threads on the 6th of July and the app is receiving an amazing response from social media users around the world.
Zuckerberg informed and stated that the Threads have seen the sign-up from more than 10 million people. The veteran Indian cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin was also one of those who joined the Threads on the same day of its launch.
"Has Elon Musk joined yet? If he hasn't!! Maybe a good idea to join ASAP," wrote Ashwin in his Threads post while taking a dig at Elon Musk.

More about Instagram Threads:
On the newly-launched Threads app, the user can update the posts and links and can also give responses to the posts of other users. The official description of the application states, “Threads is where communities come together to discuss everything from the topics you care about today to what'll be trending tomorrow. Whatever it is you're interested in, you can follow and connect directly with your favourite creators and others who love the same things - or build a loyal following to share your ideas, opinions, and creativity with the world.”
Coming back to Ravichandran Ashwin, he will be in action with Team India in the upcoming Test series against West Indies. Both teams will lock horns in the first of the two-match Test series at Dominica on Wednesday, the 12th of June.
Ashwin was also in the headlines of the Indian cricketing scenario after he was omitted from India's playing XI of the World Test Championship 2023 final against Australia. He also expressed his disappointment over his exclusion from the playing XI in an interview with the Indian Express.
