In a recent piece of news, the media reports have suggested that the IPL franchise RCB (Royal Challengers Bangalore) are all set to part ways with the head coach Mike Hesson and batting coach Sanjay Bangar. Now, they will be looking for fresh faces in the role of new coaches ahead of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League 2024.

“Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) are on the lookout for new backroom staff after deciding that they won’t continue with Director of Cricket Mike Hesson and coach Sanjay Bangar in the next Indian Premier League season,” reads a report in the Indian Express.

Although this news came up as an opportunity for the cricket fans to take a dig at Royal Challengers Bangalore for the confusion in their management. Fans immediately took to the micro-blogging site Twitter to come up with a lot of contrasting reactions for RCB as the team is still waiting for their maiden title in the 15-year-long history and after the 16 seasons of the tournament.

Here’s how fans reacted:

Apart from this news, the former RCB player and star Indian spinner Yuzvendra Chahal also dropped a bombshell when he made a shocking revelation about his relationship with the franchise.

“I played there for 8 years. RCB basically gave me the India cap, because they gave me a chance to perform. From the very first match, Virat (Virat Kohli) bhaiya showed me trust. So, it felt bad, because it almost feels like family when you spend 8 years at a team. A lot of rumors came in like I asked for a huge amount of money. I clarified at the time that there wasn't anything like that. I know what I deserve,” said Chahal to YouTuber Ranveer Allahabadiya during a podcast on his YouTube Channel.

“What I felt really bad about was there was no phone call, no communication. At least have a talk. I had played 114 matches for them. In an auction, they promised me that they will go all-out for me. I said, fine. When I wasn't picked up there, I was very angry. I gave them 8 years. Chinnaswamy was my favorite ground. I didn't talk to RCB coaches. The first match I played against them, I didn't talk to anyone,” he added later.
