Former Indian skipper and batting superstar, Virat Kohli attracted the headlines on social media apart from his 76-run knock in the 1st Test against West Indies. The 34-year-old showcased his dance skills before the start of West Indies’ second innings. The young debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal was also watching his senior dancing.

Speaking of Virat Kohli’s performance with the bat in the first of the Test against West Indies, he played a steady knock of 76 runs off 182 balls. Kohli also surpassed the former Indian opener Virender Sehwag in the list of highest run-scorers for India in Tests. He is now in the fifth spot, just behind former stylish middle-order batter VVS Laxman.

As for the Dominica Test, India bundled up the West Indies on the score of 150 runs in the first innings courtesy of Ravichandran Ashwin’s brilliant five-wicket haul. Later, India posted a total of 421 runs for the loss of five wickets before declaring with a lead of 271 runs.

Young debutant Yashasvi Jaiswal impressed everyone with his sensational 171-run century in his career’s first-ever Test appearance. Apart from him, skipper Rohit Sharma also scored his career’s 10th Test century.

Bowling in the second innings, the World number one Test bowler Ravichandran Ashwin lived up to his stature and scalped seven wickets in the second innings. He played a vital role in bundling up West Indies on the score of 130 runs and helped India win the match by a mammoth margin of an innings and 141 runs to take a lead of 1-0 in the two-match Test series.
