Shubman Gill

It wasn’t a night to remember for the Royal Challengers Bangalore as the amazing century by Shubman Gill knocked the former out of the current season of the Indian Premier League 2023. Although this brilliant performance of Shubman Gill didn’t go down well with a section of the RCB fans or some trolls and they started abusing the young Fazilka batter. They also crossed the line and went on to abuse Shubman Gill’s sister Shaheen Gill on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

Although a bigger section of cricket fans took the initiative and called out those trolls who abuse Gill and his family on Twitter. Some of the fans also said that these kinds of trolls don’t even deserve to be called as cricket fans.

Speaking of the action of the match between RCB and GT, it was only the former skipper Virat Kohli for RCB who played a struggling and magnificent knock of 101 runs to help the team reach a total of 197 runs for the loss of five wickets. Other than him, the only second-highest scorer for RCB in the innings was the skipper Faf du Plessis who scored 28 runs.

Later on, while chasing the target, the 23-year-old young batting sensation Shubman Gill made it very easy for the defending champions to chase down the target only in 19.1 overs scoring 198 runs for the loss of four wickets. Gill smashed 104 runs off just 52 balls with five boundaries and eight sixes to his name. Eventually, Hardik Pandya’s men won the match by six wickets to eliminate RCB from the 16th edition of the Indian Premier League.
