The highly anticipated and the oldest cricket rivalry of the oldest format of the game, The Ashes has been kicked off between the two arch-rivals England and Australia with the first Test of The Ashes 2023 at the Edgbaston in Birmingham. The hosts England won the flip of the coin and decided to bat first in the first of the five-match Test series.
Apart from England’s steady start in the first session till lunch, the dismissal of England opener Zak Crawley attracted the headlines as Australia didn’t go for DRS after the field umpire denied the clear edge of Crawley’s bat when he was caught by Alex Carey.
Although Crawley couldn’t carry and capitalize on this advantage for a long time and he got out after being caught almost in the same manner by Aussie wicketkeeper-batter Alex Carey. It was the time when the visitors’ side didn’t fail to go up the stairs and successfully got the wicket of Zak Crawley who was gradually becoming a danger for Australia.
Subsequently, the cricket fans also took to Twitter and reacted with a lot of different kinds of reactions on this controversial turn-around of things just around the dismissal of Zak Crawley two times in the match. Some of the fans also trolled the umpires for their less-vigilant attitude.

They are playing with a batsman's attitude and the opposition has not even a clue which way the ball goes after the bowler release the ball that's simply a good tactic to unset the momentum of the bowlers
