Sachin fans hit back after Barmy Army trolls legend on his birthday

Barmy Army used a picture of Sachin Tendulkar walking off the field after losing his wicket on his birthdau, fans react to it.

Sachin Tendulkar, on April 24th, celebrated his 49th birthday. Tendulkar, also known as 'Master Blaster' or 'God of Cricket', served the Indian Cricket Team for over 24 long years. He made his international debut at the age of 16 in 1989 and retired in 2013.

On the occasion of his birthday, the cricketing community flooded the internet with birthday wishes for the Master. England's Barmy Army, the England team's fan club, also wished the veteran cricketer on his birthday. The renowned fan group, however, trolled Sachin and used a picture of him walking off the field after losing his wicket . "Happy Birthday Little Master," read the caption of the post.

Disappointed with this, the angry fans questioned if the choice of the photo was deliberate. Some fans took out the stats of  Sachin Tendulkar against England. A fan posted a photo that showed Tendulkar's overall Test stats are equal to the total stats of England’s Alastair Cook and Australia's Michael Clarke.

"This kind of banter is expected from Barmy Army. Willingly selecting this image. Out of many titles such as GOD, GOAT, MasterBlaster, etc BA is wishing with "Little" Master," another fan wrote.

Meanwhile, Sachin Tendulkar played 200 Test matches and amassed a total of 15291 runs, including 51 hundreds. Sachin Tendulkar collected 18426 runs at an average of 44.8 in 463 ODI games and smashed 49 tons. Speaking of his record against England, Sachin scored 3990 runs in 69 matches across formats against them, including nine centuries and 23 fifties.
