India leggie Yuzvendra Chahal has been out of action since the IPL 2023. As he doesn't play Test cricket, he wasn't part of the World Test Championship final 2023 that India lost. Meanwhile, Chahal met South Africa player Jesse February who happens to play Chess. For the unversed, the 2011 Champions League winner played for India at the age-group level in the sport.

The former Royal Challengers Bangalore player in the IPL is the only player to play for India in Chess and Cricket. Meanwhile, after the picture was uploaded on social media by Jesse, it went viral and the fans started sharing memes.

Meanwhile, India will play an all-format series after a gap of a month from July 12. The Men In Blue last played on June 11, the final day of the WTC Final 2023. On that day, Australia thrashed the Asian side by a massive margin to win their maiden Test title. After this, they didn't play a game. This month, they will be on the park again and will start afresh against the West Indies in a two-match Test series for WTC cycle 2023-25.

After this, both teams will play three ODIs and five T20Is as the ODI World Cup is few months away and the T20 World Cup is about an year away.
