In these appearances, Ayesha has scored 369 T20I runs and 33 ODI runs. She also attracted the eyeballs for her brilliant unbeaten knock of 43 runs off just 25 balls in the Women’s T20 World Cup 2023 against the arch-rivals India.
The Abbottabad-born young prodigy also attracted the headlines she was praised by the former legendary Pakistan bowler Wasim Akram. “Now that’s some serious talent,” reads the tweet posted by Wasim Akram while he reshared a video of Ayesha Naseem’s quick knock against Australia. In this match, she played a blistering knock of 24 runs with three sixes and a boundary to his name.
