Star Indian batter, Shubman Gill has taken giant strides in his International career since making his debut. After impressing everyone in his debut Test series in Australia, the youngster is stamping his authority in ODI cricket as well. He was the highest run-scorer for India in their previous two ODI series against West Indies and Zimbabwe respectively.
The 22-year-old recently broke the record of the highest individual score by an Indian batter in Zimbabwe in ODIs when he scored a brilliant 130 in the third match of the recently concluded series.
He went past the legendary Sachin Tendulkar, who scored 127 in 1998 at Bulawayo and had held that record ever since. As soon as he went past the ‘Master Blaster’, reports of him dating his daughter Sara Tendulkar began surfacing all over again.
Amid all the reports, Gill shared two cryptic statements on his social media that left the fans speculating about his personal life. According to a report in Zee News, Shubman Gill posted a picture on his Instagram stories and wrote a cryptic message on top of it. The note can be read as "Don't fall in love with angels"
As soon as the story caught the public eye, people started speculating about Shubman and Sara's breakup. However, another thing that caught everyone's attention was when a fan asked Shubman Gill about his relationship status and asked him whether he was single or committed. Answering this in a witty way, Shubman, once again, gave an interesting answer as he wrote:
"Oh Yes! I am I have no plans of cloning myself in the near future, either."
Earlier this year, the rumours of an alleged relationship between Shubman Gill and Sara Tendulkar caught fire when the former had congratulated Gill on the purchase of his new car on Instagram. In reply to Sara’s comment, Gill wrote "Thanks a lot", followed by a pink heart emoticon. The reply caught the attention of Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya, who, in an attempt to tease Gill further, wrote “@shubmangill most welcome from her.”
