Team England defeated Pakistan by a margin of 52 runs in the 2nd ODI match to clinch the ODI series 2-0. Owing to bad weather, the 2nd ODI match was reduced to 47 overs per team. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam won the toss and put England to bat first. England opener Dawid Malan failed to make an impact with the bat in the 2nd ODI against Pakistan. However, Phil Salt was solid for England. In 56 balls, Salt amassed a total of 60 runs for England. Team England managed to post a competitive total of 247 at the end of 50 overs. Hence, Pakistan needed to chase a total of 248 to win the 2nd ODI of the 3 match ODI series.
