Mithali Raj sets new international run-scoring record against England women in third ODI

India captain Mithali Raj has now become the highest run-scorer across all the formats of the game in women's cricket. The veteran cricketer achieved the milestone during India women's four-wicket victory against England women in the third and final ODI in Worcester. The Indian cricket team chased 220 runs in a truncated 47-over match and also secured victory with three balls to spare. Mithali Raj scored an unbeaten knock of 75, off just 86 deliveries. She was declared the Player of the Match. Mithali Raj has also completed 6000 runs in international cricket as captain. The Indian skipper is only the second woman to reach the milestone after Charlotte Edwards (6728).
