India Women recently played a white-ball series in England. The T20I series was leveled 1-1 with the first game washed out. On the other hand, the Women In Blue clean swept the Three Lions. During the series, Taniyaa Bhatia was part of the team but didn't play a single game. In fact, Richa Ghosh was keeping wickets in T20Is while Yastika Bhatia took the responsibility in ODIs.

Meanwhile, Bhatia raised a serious issue on Twitter. Apparently, she claims that someone has stolen her personal items from her room. The team was staying at Marriot Hotel London. She added that it is shocking to see something like this happening at England and Wales Cricket Board's preferred hotel partner. The wicketkeeper batter urged the ECB to look into the matter.

"Shocked and disappointed at Marriot Hotel London Maida Vale management; someone walked into my personal room and stole my bag with cash, cards, watches and jewellery during my recent stay as a part of Indian Women's Cricket team. @MarriottBonvoy @Marriott. So unsafe," Taniyaa Bhatia wrote on Twitter

"Hoping for a quick investigation and resolution of this matter. Such lack of security at @ECB_cricket's preferred hotel partner is astounding. Hope they will take cognisance as well. @Marriott @BCCIWomen @BCCI," she added.

It will be interesting to see how the investigation into the matter turns out. The team has been staying in England since the Commonwealth Games 2022 in which they won Silver.
