Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif has made his picks for the best captains of all time. He believes India‘s current all-format Captain Rohit Sharma and New Zealand‘s all-format captain Kane Williamson are the two of the greatest captains. The two captains have seen tremendous success as leaders of various teams.

“Rohit Sharma and Kane Williamson have been the most impressive captains of All Time,” Mohammad Kaif told Sportskeeda. The two leaders have been very impressive in taking charge of the team. While Rohit has been recently appointed as India’s full-time captain, Kane Williamson has been doing the same for his country since 2016.

Rohit Sharma, however, has a stellar track record as the captain of the Mumbai-based franchise in the Indian T20 League. He is the most successful captain in the history of the cash-rich league. He has won five titles for the team, and is considered one of the best T20 captains going around. However, the 2022 season was not his greatest, as his side finished last in the points table.

Currently, Kane Williamson is all set to lead his team in a three-match Test series against England, starting 2nd June. The first match of the series will be played at Lord’s from the 2nd of June to the 6th of June. Last year, he guided the Black Caps to a victory in the ICC Test Championship final against India. He is now on a quest to defend their title in the second cycle of the championship.

On the other hand, the Indian captain has taken a rest from cricket for India’s upcoming five-match T20 series against South Africa. He has had a busy schedule with the Mumbai team in the recently concluded Indian T20 League 2022. He will next be seen in the series against England starting next month. Rohit will lead the team in the rescheduled fifth Test match against England. The Indian team will also play a white-ball series against them.
