However, the Pakistan skipper had a tough start to the tournament as they have lost two matches out of their three. He said: "In my opinion, first, you think about your team instead of yourself; if nothing goes according to your plan, you should have sent Fakhar Zaman up the batting order. This is called selfishness; as a captain, it is easy to be selfish.”

In three matches so far, Babar has scored only eight runs only. Against arch-rivals India, he managed a golden duck only. In reply, Pakistan managed to win the game by six wickets with 6.1 overs to spare. Babar Azam only managed four runs off five balls in that match.
