The Chennai Super Kings and one of the legendary former Indian skippers, MS Dhoni is currently in the headlines of social media for the last couple of days. The discussion is all around the corner about the speculated retirement of the veteran wicketkeeper-skipper from the Indian Premier League after the current season.
Meanwhile, Dhoni’s injury has also attracted the eyes of the cricket fans as he went on to play in the last match against DC with an injured knee with a support. Later on, he was spotted having an ice pack on his knee in the dressing room while having a photograph with the former Indian all-rounder and currently the commentator, Irfan Pathan.

Talking about cricket, MS Dhoni scored 20 runs off just 9 balls with a boundary and two sixes to his name. Apart from this, Chennai Super Kings managed to post a total of 167 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Mitchell Marsh and Axar Patel scalped three and two wickets respectively alongside one wicket each claimed by Khaleel Ahmed, Lalit Yadav, and Kuldeep Yadav.
While chasing the target, Delhi Capitals failed to chase down the target and could score 140 runs for the loss of eight wickets in the entire 20 overs; eventually, CSK won the match by a margin of 27 runs.
The veteran CSK all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja won the ‘Player of the Match award for his all-round performance scoring 21 runs and scalping one wicket conceding one wicket in the second innings for his team.
