Wasim Jaffer explains Punjab's selection dilemma with a hilarious Here Pheri meme

Unlike previous other editions, Punjab have begun their season on a bright note in the Indian T20 League 2022. Under the leadership of Mayank Agarwal, Punjab have managed to win two matches out of three so far. They are currently locking horns with Gujarat in their fourth match of the tournament.

There is no denying that Punjab have done a great job at the mega-auction. They have managed to compile an outstanding squad this year. They have got a great batting line-up, and most importantly, Punjab have picked some outstanding overseas picks this year.

Liam Livingstone has been in great form with the bat. Odean Smith provides a great balance to the line-up. Kagiso Rabada is their biggest bet in the fast bowling department, while B Rajapaksa has shown great form in the first three games. All four were part of the playing XI in the first three games. However, the arrival of Jonny Bairstow has left them in a selection dilemma.

Bairstow is one of the best ball-strikers in the game at present. It won’t easy for Punjab to leave him out of the playing XI. Punjab realizes the important of his presence in the playing XI and they have, in fact, added him in the playing XI in the ongoing match against Gujarat. Sri Lanka cricketer, B Rajapaksa had to make way for him.
