Michael Vaughan and Wasim Jaffer are arguably two of the funniest cricketers on Twitter. Time and again, both engage in playful banters on the micro-blogging site. However, it is always jovial and never personal.
Most of their Twitter battles are with respect to England and India. Recently, Jaffer took to Twitter to troll Vaughan for England's recent performance in the three-match Test series against the West Indies. Jaffer tagged Vaughan in a tweet showing that extras are the third highest run scorer for England this year.
"England 120 all out! What happened @MichaelVaughan was this Extras guy unavailable due to IPL or what? 😜 #WIvENG #IPL2022" read the caption of Wasim Jaffer's Tweet. It is to be noted that the English batters have had a torrid time this year. They recently lost the Test series against the Windies by 1-0.

However, Vaughan didn't take too long to respond. He went on to troll Jaffer for India's recent performance in the Women's World Cup 2022. While quoting the 44-year-old's Tweet, he mentioned that they are focusing on the semi-final of the WC. Earlier on Sunday, India lost to South Africa by the barest of margins.
"Wasim .. At the moment we are focusing on the Womens World Cup semis .. !!! 😜😜" read Michael Vaughan's Tweet. Thus, it instantly went viral as fans once again loved the banter between the two former cricketers. It is to be noted that India were recently knocked out of the Women's WC after losing to South Africa in a must win game.

As far as England's men's team are concerned, then they have been severely criticized for their recent performances in the longest format of the game. Although Joe Root has consistently been scoring runs, there have been a lot of questions pertaining to his captaincy. Several pundits and experts feel that England need to look for a new Test captain.
