According to a press release by the Rome-based team, more than 10,000 people were during the event. Meanwhile, the 28-year-old thanked the fans for the welcome. “Ciao Roma, thank you for everything,” began the attacker.
During the event, he said that he was eager the support. The Argentinian also mentioned how tough it was for him to play against the club but he is privileged to play for the same team.
“As I said earlier today, I was eager to greet the supporters. I’ve played against Roma many times and it’s always tough. As of today, though, I have to privilege of playing and remaining here.”
“I can’t wait to be at the Olimpico with you all underneath the Curva Sud. It’s incredibly special to be here in this city wearing this shirt,” the Argentinian said according to the press release from AC Roma.
The former Juventus added that it is important to get into shape to give the fans the same they had during the event.
“Now the most important thing is to get into shape as soon as possible in order to give a ton of joy to these incredible supporters that are here tonight,” the former Juventus player added.
