The star Indian all-rounder Axar Patel recently got married to Meha before the commencement of the Test series against Australia. Now, he has made it to the headlines for his latest visit to the Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain of Madhya Pradesh. Axar went to the Baba Mahakal temple with his wife Meha to have the blessings of Lord Shiva ahead of a big red-ball assignment against Australia.

The newly married couple also attended the famous ‘Bhasma Aarti’ of Baba Mahakal on their visit to Mahakaleshwar Temple. The video of Axar and Meha worshipping Lord Shiva was shared on the micro-blogging site Twitter.

Talking about cricket, the 29-year-old has amazed everyone with his stunning form both with the bat and the ball of late, across all the formats of the game. Apart from that, he has also delivered brilliantly up to the expectations in the ongoing four-Test Border-Gavaskar Trophy against Australia.

Axar Patel is currently on the second spot in the list of leading run-scorers in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy 2023 so far. He is just behind the Indian skipper and his teammate Rohit Sharma. Patel has scored 158 runs in two innings of the two matches he batted with an amazing batting average of 79.00 including two half-centuries to his name.

Axar played a great role in rescuing India in the first innings of the Delhi Test; the hosts were struggling after losing seven wickets only on the score of 139 runs at one stage. Then came the remarkable partnership of 114 runs for the eighth wicket between the two star all-rounders of India; Ravichandran Ashwin, and Axar Patel. The latter played a vital knock of 74 runs off 115 balls to compel Australia satisfying with a nominal lead of 1 run.

Now, the star southpaw will be in action for India during the third Test of the series against Australia. Both teams will play this match at the Holkar Stadium in Indore from Wednesday, the 1st of March.
