Team India made a blazing start to their tour of the West Indies with a win by an innings and 141 runs in the first Test in Dominica. They are now ready to take on the Caribbean challenge in the second Test in Trinidad and Tobago. As Indian players reached the venue, Brian Lara also known as the Prince of Trinidad, was ready to greet them. Especially, his interaction with Virat Kohli has gained the most traction.
Lara was on a phone call as Virat Kohli passed by him. He ignored his phone call to embrace the Indian star batter and have a quick catch-up chat with him. The two exchanged their greetings and went their ways as Lara jumped back on his phone call. The video also shows him interacting with other Indian players including skipper Rohit Sharma, pacer Mohammed Siraj and red-ball specialist Ajinkya Rahane. Notably, Lara joined the coaching setup of the West Indies team ahead of the multi-format series against India.

Virat Kohli is on the lookout for his 30th Test century
Virat Kohli is all set to check off yet another achievement. The upcoming Test at the Queen’s Park Oval will be the 500th international game for the star India batter. He is set to become the fourth Indian cricketer after Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and MS Dhoni to reach 500 international games. In the first Test, Kohli scored a brilliant 76 off 182 balls. However, he missed out on his century and would be eyeing to make his 500th game special by reaching his 30th Test century.
Earlier this year, Kohli slammed some of Brian Lara’s longstanding records. He surpassed Lara to become the second-highest run-scorer against Australia in the longest format. He also went past him in the list of highest non-Australian run-scorer at the Adelaide Oval. Lastly, he left behind the iconic duo of Sachin Tendulkar and Brian Lara to become the fastest batter to score 20,000 international runs.
