Australia are currently busy playing the third and last match of the ongoing Test series at home against South Africa. The home side already sealed the series by winning the first two matches. So, Pat Cummins was looking to whitewash the visitors in Sydney. Speaking of the match, Australia won the toss and opted to bat first.
On 7 January 2023, day four ended while the Proteas are struggling with 149 runs for six wickets. But, the Aussie skipper came up with an elite trap to dismiss Khaya Zondo as the batter looked absolutely clueless against a yorker. Fans also loved the set-up and that video has now gone viral.

Pat Cummins took three wickets on day four of the Sydney Test
Speaking of the video, the incident took place during the 49th over of South Africa’s first innings. Khaya Zondo was batting while Pat Cummins was bowling. Before the third delivery of the over, Cummins went to the round of the wicket and called for a short leg. So, the batter was expecting a short ball.
However, he was not wrong as Cummis bowled a short ball on that delivery. But, in the next ball, he bowled a toe-crushing yorker that him into the back pad. Umpire also gave it out but the batter took a review. However, it did not go in his favor him and Zondo got out for 39 runs off 83 balls, including two fours and two sixes.
Speaking of the match, Australia declared their first innings after scoring 475 runs for four wickets in 131 overs. Usman Khawaja scored remained not out on 195* runs off 368 balls, including 19 fours and one six. Steve Smith also scored 104 runs off 192 balls, including 11 fours and two sixes. But, day 3 of the match got abandoned due to heavy rain. In reply, the Proteas managed only 149 runs for six wickets at the end of day four. Pat Cummins has taken three wickets for 29 runs in 14 overs so far.
