Bring the umpires too: Harmanpreet Kaur
According to reports, the India captain exclaimed during the session, "Bring the umpires too," implying that the officials are also members of the Bangladesh squad and hence should be included in the images. Sultana interacted with officials from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) before departing with her squad. In the post-match press conference, she blasted Kaur, claiming her opponent "could have shown better manners."
The Bangladesh captain even stated, "It is totally her problem. I have nothing to do with it. As a player, she could have shown better manners. I can't tell you what happened, but it didn't feel right to be there
In the post-match news conference, India's vice-captain Smriti Mandhana was asked about the incident. Mandhana stated that Harmanpreet did yell at the umpires, but nothing was intended towards Bangladesh's captain or squad. The Indian women captain has been fined 50% for breaking the stumps and 25% for her comments. She will also get four demerit points, which generally states that she might also face a ban of one Test or two limited-overs matches.
