Rajasthan’s star batter Jos Buttler has attracted the headlines for his amazing fielding heroics in the ongoing eighth match of the Indian T20 League against Punjab. Notably, both teams are playing at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. The hosts’ skipper Sanju Samson won the flip of the coin and decided to bowl first.
Coming back to Jos Buttler’s sensational catch, the moment came on the fourth ball of the 10th over of the Punjab innings when their opener Prabhsimran Singh was hitting Rajasthan bowlers around all the corners of the ground.
But it was Jason Holder who trapped Prabhsimran in a short ball which the latter played over the long off region. Buttler was placed in the region and he was quite a bit away from the range of the ball but he ran towards the ball and caught the ball with an amazing running dive.
The video of this amazing fielding excellence by the veteran Rajashtan star is now making rounds on social media within minutes of being shared by a user on the micro-blogging site Twitter.
