WATCH: Kieron Pollard and Dwayne Bravo involved in hilarious banter after MINY beat TSK in 2nd MLC 2023 Qualifier

MI New York’s Kieron Pollard and star Texas Super Kings all-rounder Dwayne Bravo were involved in a hilarious banter after the second qualifier between both the giants in the Major League Cricket 2023. Pollard was mocking Bravo ahead of the post-match presentation after MINY defeated TSK by a margin of 6 wickets to enter the finals.

Pollard imitated the flight sign to Bravo as MINY knocked TSK out of the inaugural edition of the MLC. Subsequently, Bravo bowed down to his former West Indies teammate. Later, both the cricketing stars hugged each other with some laughs and smiles on their faces.

The MI New York shared a video of the amazing moment on their official Twitter handle, and it quickly started circulating on social media. “These two & their banter, Polly wins this round, DJ!” read the caption of the video tweet posted by MI New York.

MI New York to lock horns with Seattle Orcas in MLC 2023 final

Talking about the action of the match, MINY stand-in skipper Nicholas Pooran won the toss and asked TSK to bat first. The Super Kings managed to post a total of 158 runs in the allotted 20 overs. Wicketkeeper-batter Devon Conway played a knock of 38 runs, followed by Milind Kumar’s 37-run knock in the middle order.

The veteran pacer Trent Boult bowled brilliantly and claimed a four-wicket haul; he picked 4 wickets at the cost of only 24 runs in his quota of 4 overs. Apart from him, Ehsan Adil and Rashid Khan also claimed one wicket alongside 2 wickets scalped by Tim David.

While chasing the target, MI New York comfortably crossed the line in 19 overs, scoring 162 runs for the loss of 4 wickets and won the match by a margin of 6 wickets. With this win, New York made it to the final of the tournament where they’ll lock horns with Seattle Orcas for the title of the inaugural edition of the Major League Cricket. Trent Boult won the ‘Player of the Match award for his match-defining bowling heroics in favour of MI New York.
