On 22 December 2022, team India locked horns with Bangladesh for the second match of the ongoing two-match Test series in Mirpur. The Men in Blue came to this clash after winning the series opener. However, Rohit Sharma failed to make a comeback for this match. Therefore, KL Rahul became the captain once again.
On the eve of this match, KL Rahul sustained some injury on his hand during the net sessions. But, fans were relieved to see Rahul at the toss. However, KL Rahul has failed to contribute significantly with the bat since his comeback to the team across all the formats. So, eyes were on the batter in this match. But, now a video has gone viral where KL Rahul and Virat Kohli were seen having ‘Coconut’ together in the dugout before the start of the match.

KL Rahul scored just 22 and 23 runs respectively in two innings of the first Tests match
Speaking of the video, both the batters were seen in a happy mood while having ‘Coconut’ during a practice season before the second Test. However, in the first match, both batters failed to score big for team India. KL Rahul scored 22 and 23 runs respectively in two innings. While Virat Kohli also scored 1 and 19* runs respectively in two innings.
However, after the first Test victory, KL Rahul was very happy and lauded the Men in Blue’s performance. He said: “I am very proud that throughout the Test match our energy and intensity has really been high and we've maintained that throughout. Through the last five days, we've shown great commitment towards the team and we haven't played Test cricket in some time so there was a bit of worry coming in about how the bodies would react and how we would be able to be on the park for so long and still maintain our focus and intensity. I think we did that really well and that's really pleasing."
“Yes there are areas that we can improve, but I'll take the win. Everyone performed. Kuldeep with the ball in the first innings, Siraj in the first innings as well. Even the bowlers who didn't take wickets supported the guys really well,” KL Rahul concluded.
