Sports are always considered free from all kinds of differences, be it religion-based, color-based, or any other kind. But this notion was seen disturbed somehow when the senior Indian pacer Mohammed Shami was heckled by a section of the fans with the chants of ‘Jai Shri Ram’. The video of this incident is now making rounds on social media just within minutes of being shared by a Twitter user.
The incident happened on the first day of the ongoing Ahmedabad Test after Shami dismissed Marnus Labuschagne and Peter Handscomb in the first and second sessions respectively. Notably, Shami was heckled by the very guy who recorded the video of this incident.

Speaking of the action of the match, the game f the third day is underway as India have scored 98 runs for the loss of one wicket in the form of skipper Rohit Sharma. Opener Shubman Gill has reached his half-century at the time of filling this copy having senior batter Cheteshwer Pujara with him in the middle. Rohit Sharma played a knock of 35 runs off 58 balls with three boundaries and a six to his name before falling prey to Matthew Kuhnemann.

The veteran Indian all-rounder and one of the modern-day great off-spinners, Ravichandran Ashwin scalped six wickets by conceding only 91 runs in 47.2 overs in the first innings.
