Pakistan and Sri Lanka played their last game of the Super Four round of the ongoing Asia Cup 2022 before the final. During the game, Pakistan pacer Naseem Shah was rested by the team management keeping the final in mind. He was on the boundary line when the fans asked for selfies with him. In what came as a surprise, he took their phones and confiscated them.

While he was doing that, some other fans recorded his act and were laughing in the background. Notably, when he took one of the phones, the other fans were ready to give their phones as well. As a result, he took the phones away with him. After this, the young pacer put the phones in his pockets as one pocket wasn't enough. The video of the incident is going viral on social media.

Talking about the game, the Green Brigade lost to the Lankan Lions in their last game before the final. In the game, the batters couldn't score enough runs so that the bowlers could make inroads. The Dasun Shanaka-led Sri Lanka ended their campaign before the final with three consecutive wins in the Super Four round. Both teams will play in the final on September 11 in Dubai. Talking about both teams, the Lankan have five titles while Pakistan has only won two.

Also, not to forget both teams have qualified for the final for the first time since 2014. In that edition, Sri Lanka won the final. After this, they didn't play in the 2016 and 2018 editions. These two editions were dominated by India and Bangladesh as they played in the final in both editions. In both games, India came up trumps. If Sri Lanka manages to win this year's final, they will be only one title behind India, who have won seven since the tournament's inception.
