The former England skipper Eoin Morgan is currently active in the SA20 League after hanging his boots in international cricket. The 2019 World Champion skipper is playing for the Paarl Royals franchise of SA20 under the captaincy of senior South African southpaw David Miller. Recently, Morgan amazed everyone with his brilliant reflexes in fielding during the match against Pretoria Capitals.
It happened when Andile Phelukwayo was bowling to Capitals’ skipper Theunis de Bruyn and the latter happened to play the shot with the open-faced bat. Subsequently, the ball found the 36-year-old Eoin Morgan in the gully region. The former three lions’ skipper made no mistake and went on to put all his efforts with a complete stretch to his right side and took a stunner to send the opponent skipper back to the pavilion.
The video of this outstanding catch taken by Morgan is now making rounds on social as soon as it was shared on the official Twitter handle of the SA20 League.

Speaking of the 30th match of the SA20 League between Royals and Capitals, the former’s skipper David Miller won the flip of the coin and asked de Bruyn’s men to bat first. Batting first, Pretoria Capitals managed to post a big total of 226 runs for the loss of five wickets. Kusal Mendis played a swashbuckling knock of 80 runs off just 41 balls with eight boundaries and four sixes to his name.
Other than Mendis, middle-order batter Colin Ingram and opener Phil Salt also played the crucial knocks of 41 and 39 runs respectively off 21 balls each.
While chasing the target, Paarl Royals’ batting lineup succumbed to the bowling attack of Capitals led by New Zealand bowling all-rounder James Neesham; he scalped 3 wickets in his 2 overs. Apart from Neesham, Migael and Adil Rashid also claimed two scalps each alongside one wicket each by Eathan Bosch and Anrich Nortje.
