1992 World Cup winner, Pakistan are currently playing their last warm-up game against Australia in Hyderabad. Coming off a massive loss against New Zealand, the former champions were asked to bowl first. The five-time winners had a decent start with David Warner scoring a fifty. After 22 overs, the Yellow Brigade was 140/2 with Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne at the crease.
In the 23rd over, bowled by Haris Rauf, Labuschagne played it towards backward square leg. Meanwhile, Mohammad Wasim Jr and Mohammad Nawaz made a bad mess of it. Apparently, both players left it to each other rather than taking the initiative. In the end, the ball went between them and went towards the boundary. What could have been a single was turned into a boundary.

Talking about the game, the Kangaroos were reduced to 172/5. At this stage, Glenn Maxwell scored 77 off 71 balls at a time when he needed some game time before the tournament. After him, the likes of Josh Inglis (50*) and Cameron Green (48) helped the team reach 351/7. In reply, Pakistan had a poor start as they lost four wickets for 83 runs.
At this stage, skipper Babar Azam and Iftikhar Ahmed 144 runs for the fifth wicket. Both players missed out on their hundreds (not that it would have mattered in their personal milestones). Meanwhile, at the time of writing, the team has reached 316/7, needing 36 off 30 balls.
