In a shocking turn of events, a few cricketers from both, Australia, as well as England, were kicked out of a rooftop bar in Hobart. This incident occurred after the completion of the fifth Ashes Test match. The cricketers involved were Nathan Lyon, Alex Carey, Travis Head, Joe Root and James Anderson.
The above-mentioned players were celebrating the completion of Ashes 2021-22 on Monday morning at Crowne Plaza Hobart. However, a recent video that went viral, saw a few Tasmanian police officers asking the player to leave the vicinity. This video was made by the officers on site, who can be heard saying that it is meant for the lawyers.
It is to be noted that Lyon and Carey were seen wearing their jerseys. Besides, a clock in the background of the video read 6 AM and thus, it seems as if the players had a night-long party to celebrate the end of the five-match Test series.
"You're too loud and have obviously been asked to pack up. We have been asked to come. It's time for bed," a female officer was heard saying. According to a report by Hindustan Times, police assistance was requested by the hotel staff after noise complaints.
"We got Nathan Lyon, Root, there's Carey and Anderson. I'll just video this for the lawyers. See you in the morning, everyone," said the man who was recording the video. However, the players obliged to end the party and left the scene. This incident occurred just after the visitors were humiliated by the hosts in the final Test of the series.

Despite getting to a good start in the fourth innings, England succumbed to yet another collapse, and were bundled out in just one session. Thus, the Cummins-led side went on to win the series by 4-0. England have now played 15 Test matches in Australia without a win since their last series win in Australia.
