However, both teams are busy preparing for the match. Several videos have been circulated already where players were seen having intense net sessions.
For India, Ravichandran Ashwin is there as one of the members of the final squad. On the other hand, Shardul Thakur is also there as he went as one of the backups. But, now a video went viral where both these players were seen copying the bowling style of former Indian spinner, Harbhajan Singh.

Ravichandran Ashwin conceded 28 runs in four overs against Australia in the warm-up match
Speaking of the video, both Ashwin and Shardul Thakur were seen in indoor nets. First, Shardul bowled like Harbhajan Singh. Then, the veteran spinner bowled like the former spinner. However, it seemed like the battle was based on who will copy Harbhajan Singh's bowling style more accurately. Fans found the video so funny as they shared the same on several social media platforms.
Ravichandran Ashwin shared the video on his Instagram account. In the caption, he wrote: “Who is the closest?” by tagging Harbhajan Singh and Shardul Thakur. However, India will look to do well this time around after losing to Pakistan in the last edition of the 20-20 World Cup.
Speaking about Ravichandran Ashwin’s recent performance, he played against Australia in the warm-up clash in Brisbane on 17 October 2022. However, the spinner failed to take any wickets as he conceded 28 runs in four overs. Before that, he performed well with the ball in a practice match against Western Australia XI. He took three wickets by conceding 32 runs and scored 2* runs with the bat also. However, skipper Rohit Sharma has always heaped high praises for this spinner. So, he will look to repay that faith in this 20-20 World Cup with some significant performances for India.
