Rajasthan Royals’ skipper Sanju Samson stunned everyone with his brilliant piece of work behind the wickets against Delhi Capitals in the ongoing 11th match of the IPL 2023. Both teams are playing this match at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. Delhi skipper David Warner won the flip of the coin and decided to bowl first.
Batting first Rajasthan Royals posted a total of 199 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 20 overs.
Coming back to Sanju Samson and his mind-blowing catch behind the wickets. The moment for him and DC came in the first over of the second innings. The veteran pacer Trent Boult happened to bowl a fuller length on the fourth stump, DC opener Prithvi Shaw tried to play it in the mid-on region but the ball ended up taking a leading edge of the bat and went to Samson.
The 28-year-old star keeper didn’t make any mistakes and took the catch in an excellent dive to his right to dismiss Prithvi Shaw without getting off the mark. Speaking of the action of the match at the moment, Delhi Capitals have scored 76 runs for the loss of three wickets in 10.4 overs so far; they are currently chasing a big target of 200 runs.
