In reply, the RCB got a great start as skipper Faf du Plessis and former skipper Virat Kohli combined for 42 runs in four overs. However, the likes of Sunil Narine, Varun Chakravarthy, and Suyash Sharma led the procession and restricted the opposition to 123 all-out. The trio combined for nine wickets in the game. In the end, the Knight Riders won by 81 runs.
After the game, the home team, KKR celebrated in their dressing room in the presence of the owner, Shah Rukh Khan.
