There is no secret in the fact that the Indian and Pakistan cricketers have great camaraderie despite the rivalry. This Sunday, both teams will be locking horns at the Dubai International Stadium. Ahead of the game, the players from both teams have met each other in the last few days. This time around, Pakistan's Shaheen Afridi and former India skipper Virat Kohli met each other.

Afridi is ruled out due to an injury and is believed to be treated in the UAE. On the other hand, Kohli is returning after a considerable break and is gearing up for the continental tournament. During the meeting, the former India skipper asked his counterpart about his knee injury. To which, the left-arm pacer said that it might keep him out till the 20-20 World Cup.

On the other hand, the former Pakistan U19 player said “aapke liye dua kar rahe ha, aapki form wapas ajaye” to the Delhi player. In reply, the 33-year-old thanked Shaheen.

Kohli has been gearing for the mega clash in the last few days. Recently, a video went viral where he was hitting huge sixes against the likes of Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Yuzvendra Chahal. He played his last competitive game in an ODI against England last month. In the following series against the West Indies and Zimbabwe, the right-hander was rested. He was spending time with his family during this period.

The fans from Pakistan and India have been praying for his return to form in the last few months. Since the Indian T20 League this year, he has been able to hit only three fifties across formats so far. His last series was a forgettable one as he failed to score more than 30 runs in an innings. This time around, he will be looking to do something big.
