Cristiano Ronaldo has been one of the greatest football players of all time. He has been a legend at the club wherever he has played for. At Real Madrid, the Portuguese footballer broke multiple records and etched his name in the history books. Prior to that, he was already a big name at Manchester United in form of a 24-year-old young sensation. His second career at Manchester United is not going the way he had hoped for.

The number seven had announced his desire to play for a Champions League club at the start of the season and had hoped to make a switch to a Champions League team. His transfer to all the major clubs however fell through as none could afford the pricey attacker. For the first year in his life, the 37-year-old had to play in the Europa League when Manchester United clashed with Real Sociedad in the first gameweek.

Ronaldo however could not take the English club to a win in his Europa League debut as Sociedad converted a goal in the 60th minute to clinch a great win. He was however able to take the Manchester team to a victory in their second match when they faced FC Sheriff on Friday.
Ronaldo scored a penalty in the 40th minute to secure the first win for United in this year’s Europa League. A video from the same match however is getting viral for different reasons.

The video posted on social media by different users shows, football fans in Moldova taking to a nearby apartment building and crowding up every floor’s balcony to get a glimpse of the football star.

The video is from Manchester United’s match against Sheriff FC at the Sheriff Sports Complex in Tiraspol, Moldova. Nearby apartment buildings at the stadium give a good vantage point to the pitch and often fans take to the balconies to watch Sheriff’s matches. This was however a special occasion and a chance to watch Cristiano Ronaldo play meant that every inch of the balconies were occupied.
