Former India captain Virat Kohli is one of the most popular cricketers in the world and for some, he is an emotion. He enjoys a massive fan following not just in India but all over the world, thanks to his exploits over the years. Kohli, who made his international debut in 2008, rose to fame within a short span of time and became the backbone of the Indian batting line-up.
Over the years, we have seen that the adoration for 'King Kohli' is huge and his love knows no bounds. Recently, some of Kohli's fans from Gwadar in Balochistan (a province of Pakistan) expressed their admiration for India's ace batter in a highly artistic way. On Sunday, September 3, some talented artists created a stunning sand art portrait of Kohli, which is a testament to the fact that the love for the 34-year-old is beyond boundaries. The incredible art quickly went viral on social media with fans praising the artist and expressing their love for Kohli.

Kohli failed to shine in India's 2023 Asia Cup opener
The video of Kohli's sand art surfaced on the internet a day after India's first match of the Asia Cup 2023 against Pakistan. The game was called off due to rain playing spoilsport in Pallekele after India's batting innings. India looked good at the start, but when play resumed after the first interruption by rain, Shaheen Afridi came out with his lethal pace attack and tore apart the Indian top order.
Rohit Sharma was the first victim of the left-arm pacer as the India skipper got bowled out after scoring 11. In his very next over, Shaheen dismissed Kohli as the right-hander chopped onto the stumps and was dismissed for just four runs off seven balls. The 23-year-old seamer, who took four wickets, was the star of the contest along with Ishan Kishan and Hardik Pandya, who staged a brilliant partnership to help India post a decent total of 266.
Earlier, a video of a Pakistani fan expressing her disappointment over Kohli's failure to score big went viral on social media. She travelled from Pakistan to Sri Lanka to watch her 'favourite' cricketer score a century, but had to return 'heartbroken'.
