India’s specialized media consulting firm, Ormax Media has come up with the list of top 10 most exciting players for May 13-19. West Indies all-rounder, Andre Russell occupies the number 10 position. He had a brilliant season with the bat for Kolkata, however, the team couldn’t reach the playoffs. Russell scored 335 runs in 14 matches at a strike rate of 174.
Rajasthan skipper, Sanju Samson too had a pretty good run this season. In 15 matches, Samson has scored 421 runs at a strike rate of 150.36. He sits at number 9 on the list, while Karthik occupies the 8th position. Dinesh Karthik has been one of the standout batters for Bangalore this season and his superlative performances have helped him earn a call-up to the Indian team.
At number 6 and 7 are Umran Malik and KL Rahul respectively. The 22-year-old Umran Malik has been one of the finds for Indian Cricket in this edition of the Indian T20 League. Turning up for Hyderabad, Malik picked the most wickets for the team. He has 22 wickets in 14 matches at 20.18.
KL Rahul finished the tournament as the second-highest run-scorer for the team. In 15 matches, he scored 616 runs but couldn’t take the team to the final. He sits at number 6 on the table.
Umran Malik and KL Rahul takes the number 7 and 6 position respectively. Umran Malik has the contender for the emerging player in the competition. He has consistently bowled at over 150 clicks and has also earned his maiden call-up in the Indian team.

KL Rahul, once again, scored over 600 runs in the 2022 edition of the Indian T20 League. He has maintained the consistency with the runs but couldn’t take Lucknow in the final.
The highest run-getter in the Indian T20 League 2022, Jos Buttler occupies the number five position. He has wreaked havoc for Rajasthan and helped the team reach the playoffs. Buttler has over 700 runs this season and could reach the 800-run mark if Rajasthan reach the final.
One of the most impressive players in the competition, Hardik Pandya takes the 5th position. He has impressed one and all with both captaincy and his individual performances. The Indian all-rounder has scored the most runs for his franchise and sits at 5th position, overall.
Former Indian skipper, Virat Kohli takes the number 3 spot, while the current Indian skipper occupies the number two spot on the list. Despite enduring lean run with the bat, the duo is among the top three positions in the list.
Legendary former Indian skipper, Mahendra Singh Dhoni continues to be at the top of the list. Fans would be happy for the fact that he will be leading Chennai in the next edition of the Indian T20 League as well. It will be interesting to see how he fares with the bat and as a captain next season.
