The Men in Green are currently busy in Australia playing the 20-20 World Cup. They took on arch-rivals India in Melbourne in the first match on 23 October 2022. But, they lost the game by four wickets. Then, they took on Zimbabwe on 27 October in Perth. But, Pakistan shocked everyone y losing that clash by one run.

After such a humiliating loss, fans and former cricketers have come up to criticize Babar Azam and his men. Wasim Akran has blamed the middle order batting owes as the main reason behind Pakistan’s bad World Cup campaign so far. Now, a video went viral where Mohammad Amir was seen slamming Pakistan openers.

Here is the shared video:

Mohammad Amir was not happy with the final Pakistan squad for this 20-20 World Cup

Speaking of the video, Mohammad Amir said that both Babar Azam and Mohammad Rizwan only have a top ranking because they play against B, and C teams also. He took the names of Jos Buttler and Quinton de Kock. Referencing them, Amir said that those players do not play against B, and C teams.

That is why those players are not there at the top of the rankings. He even said that these players are limited and to save themselves, they did not come down to the middle order. Mohammad Amir also blamed them for making Fakhar Zaman a scapegoat. He said that despite being the best opener in the country, Zaman gets utilized in the middle order just because of them.

After the loss against Zimbabwe, Mohammad Amir demanded some changes in Pakistan Cricket. “from day one I said poor selection ub is cheez ki responsibility kon le ga I think it's time to get rid of so-called chairman jo pcb ka khuda bana hwa hai and so-called chief selector.” Amir wrote on Twitter. Before the World Cup, he was not happy with the final Pakistan squad. He said that it was a ‘cheap’ selection from the chief selector. Hence, he wrote: “chief selector ki cheap selection” on Twitter.
