Delhi Capitals continued their winning run in the ongoing Women’s Premier League 2023 with the third consecutive win after a defeat in the first match of the tournament. They are now on the top of the points table of the tournament with 6 points.

Gujarat Giants Women skipper Beth Mooney won the toss and asked Delhi Capitals Women to bat first. Batting first, Delhi Capitals’ skipper Meg Lanning played a crucial half-century knock, scoring 55 runs off 41 balls, with 6 fours and a six. Besides her, Alice Capsey and Annabel Sutherland were the ones to cross the individual mark of 20+ runs.

These knocks helped Delhi Capitals Women to post a decent total of 163 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Star medium pacer Meghna Singh bowled brilliantly for Gujarat Giants Women as she scalped 4 wickets at the cost of 37 runs in 4 overs, alongside 2 wickets picked by Ashleigh Gardner.
