Former RCB skipper and batting superstar Virat Kohli scored another half-century in IPL 2023 and played a knock of 50 runs off 34 balls with five boundaries and a six to his name against Delhi Capitals. RCB played this match against Delhi at their home ground M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
Although Kohli also attracted the headlines of social media for another news after the end of the match against DC. The 34-year-old was seen avoiding a handshake with Delhi Capitals mentor and former Indian Cricket Board chief Sourav Ganguly. Notably, the duo had been in a very heated controversy when Virat stepped down from the captaincy of the national side of India.

Coming back to Virat Kohli, he is currently in the third spot on the list of highest run-scorers of the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League. He is just behind the Delhi Capitals skipper David Warner following SRH skipper and veteran Indian southpaw Shikhar Dhawan.
Kohli has scored 214 runs in the four innings of the four matches he played so far with an amazing average of 71.33 including three crucial half-centuries on his credit. Apart from being the third-highest run-scorer in the tournament, the former Indian skipper is also the highest run-scorer for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League 2023.
Now, Kohli will be in action with RCB in their next match in the tournament against Chennai Super Kings at the home ground M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Both teams will play this match on Monday, the 17th of April from 7.30 pm.
