Following the 2023 World Test Championship (WTC) final at The Oval in London, young Indian batting phenom Shubman Gill, recently, paid a visit to Paris Saint-Germain's (PSG) home stadium Parc des Princes in France. During the fifth day (June 11) in the one-off Test, the Rohit Sharma-led team lost to Australia by a score of 209 runs, which was their second consecutive defeat in the WTC final.
The Indian cricket team is taking advantage of their opportunity to get off the pitch after losing the crucial Test, as they have nothing scheduled for them until July. The young India opener made the decision to go to Paris to visit the stadium and the club is among his favourite football teams.
PSG shared a picture of the Indian cricket player posing at the stadium while wearing jersey number 7 on their official Twitter account. The club posted the photo on social media along with the caption, “"Namaste dosto, here’s India’s favorite cricketer and PSG fan @ShubmanGill at Parc des Princes."
Along with Virat Kohli, as well as his wife Anushka Sharma, Gill watched Manchester City's FA Cup final match versus Manchester United at Wembley Stadium in London earlier this month. Manchester City defeated United 2-1 to win the game. After that, City defeated Inter Milan 1-0 at the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in Turkey to win their first-ever UEFA Champions League championship.
After City won the UCL championship, the 23-year-old thanked them and shared pictures with prominent club members including Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland. In addition to winning the FA Cup and UCL, Pep Guardiola's team was also named the English Premier League 2022–23 champions.
The West Indies will host a multi-format series as India's next task. The series will begin on July 12 and the schedule includes two Tests, three ODIs and five T20Is. Gill is already having a superb 2023 and would be looking to be amongst the runs in the series.

No big match player or club
Next darling of Marketing. He will soon become undroppable even if he scores low scores. Hope it doesn't get to his head. He is too talented not to have a good career
