The Caribbean star Andre Russell failed to live up to the expectations for Kolkata Knight Riders in their second match against Royal Challengers Bangalore in the ongoing edition of the Indian Premier League 2023. He went back to the pavilion only on a golden duck; he fell prey to Karn Sharma on the third ball of the 12th over.

A section of cricket fans took to Twitter and brutally trolled Andre Russell for his poor performance with the bat. Fans came up with some hard and fast-lined remarks for Russell and ruthlessly trolled him for not living up to his stature.

Speaking of the match at the moment; the Knight Riders have posted a big total of 204 runs for the loss of seven wickets in the allotted 20 overs. The hosts faced an early blow with a score of 26 runs when Venkatesh Iyer fell prey to David Willey. Rahmanullah Gurbaz played a crucial knock of 57 runs off 44 balls with six boundaries and three sixes to his name.

Other than him, Shardul Thakur also played a swashbuckling knock of 68 runs off 29 balls with nine boundaries and three sixes to his name.

David Willey and Karn Sharma scalped two wickets each for Royal Challengers Bangalore alongside one wicket each by Mohammed Siraj, Michael Bracewell, and Harshal Patel.
