Team India are currently busy playing the last and second Test match against Bangladesh in Mirpur. After winning the first match, the Men in Blue were looking for another clinical win to register a clean sweep over the Bangla Tigers in Bangladesh only. However, Rohit Sharma missed the series due to his thumb injury.
Therefore, KL Rahul led them in two matches. Meanwhile, Virat Kohli came to this series after scoring his 72nd international hundred in the third and last ODI game of the series. But, in the first Test again, he failed to score big as the former India skipper scored 1 and 19* runs respectively in two innings.

Speaking about Kohli, he enjoyed a great run of form with the bat since the Asia Cup 2022 campaign. In the 20-20 World Cup 2022, he was also the highest run-scorer for the Men in Blue. However, he took a rest from the New Zealand tour, and finally, Virat Kohli made a comeback in this Bangladesh tour. Speaking about the second game of this series, Bangladesh batted first and scored 227 runs in 73.5 overs. In reply, India took an 87-run lead as they scored 314 runs in 86.3 overs. Virat Kohli scored only 24 runs off 73 balls, including three fours.
However, Bangladesh batter put up their best effort and got bundled out for just 231 runs in 70.2 overs. Thus, the Bangla Tigers set a target of 145 runs for the Men in Blue. Fans were expecting India’s batters to bat freely during the chasse. But, they made a mess of it as they are now struggling after scoring 45 runs for four wickets at the end of day three. Virat Kohli failed to score again as he scored just one run off 22 balls. Fans were not happy with such a negative approach from the star batter as they shared their views on social media.
